Data Collection
This extension does NOT collect, transmit, or share any personal data with external servers or third parties. All location data is stored locally in your browser's storage.
Data Storage
The following data is stored locally in your browser:
- GPS coordinates from your iCloud Find My devices
- Device names and battery information
- Tracking timestamps
Important: No data leaves your device. Everything is stored in Chrome's local storage only.
Data Usage
The extension only accesses iCloud Find My location data that you can already see in your browser. It simply logs this information for your personal use and allows you to export it.
Third Parties
We do not share data with any third parties. No analytics, no tracking, no external services.
Data Control
You have full control to delete all tracked data at any time through the extension interface.
Permissions Explanation
1. Storage Permission
Required to save your tracked GPS location history locally in the browser. All data stays on your device.
2. Downloads Permission
Required to export your location data as GPX and JSON files. This allows you to save tracking history to your computer. No actual downloads from the internet - only exports of your own data.
3. Host Permission (icloud.com)
Required to read location data from iCloud Find My web pages. Only accesses data you can already see on iCloud.com. Does not access any other websites or data.
Remote Code
This extension does NOT use remote code. All code is bundled with the extension and reviewed by Chrome Web Store. No external scripts are loaded or executed.
